CSE and SRHR Services for Young People in All Their Diversity

Youth in the region face significant challenges when it comes to SRHR, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Marginalised young people face even more restrictions and challenges in exercising their rights and are prone to violence in multiple settings. Social and cultural norms are the main barrier to young people’s access to SRH services.

The Right Here Right Now (RHRN 2) initiative is a global partnership focused on young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), implemented by ARROW from 2021-2025. It is currently being implemented through a strategic partnership in 10 countries in Asia and Africa. In Asia, RHRN 2 is being implemented in three countries namely Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal. As part of RHRN2, ARROW and partners across Asia are conducting research to assess existing evidence related to youth SRHR and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) advocacy in the region.
