Indonesia is an archipelago of approximately 17,000 islands, with a total population of 239 million people (2010 census).The country is home to about 1,340 ethnicities with different views on gender and sexuality issues and varying degrees of access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), including relevant healthcare services. About 49.79% of the people live in urban areas, while 50.21% live in rural communities. The current paper, translated to the Indonesian language, examines the state of access to sexual and reproductive health services in the country.
