On April 1 2020, ARROW’s Executive Director, Sivananthi Thanenthiran was on local radio station BFM 89.9 to talk about how the COVID-19 health crisis disproportionately affects women and girls.
The podcast also discussed the backlash faced by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry for its sexist messaging and advice for women to cope with being at home during the Movement Control Order in Malaysia.
