Two women entered a centuries-old temple in Kerala in India in January this year after a ban on women entering the temple was overturned, amidst large protests both against the act and in support of women’s equality.
On January 3rd 2019, ARROW’s executive director Sivananthi Thanenthiran spoke to local radio station BFM 89.9 about this being a progressive move towards gender equality.
