Momota has a strong background in public health with prior work experience on SRHR. She is a youth rights enthusiast and has recently completed her Masters in Public Health from Lund University, Sweden with a Swedish Institute Scholarship. While studying in Sweden she also worked with a student organisation focused on SRHR for young people. Besides that, she also worked with WHO: CC and Lund University in different research projects. Back in Bangladesh, she worked on multiple SRHR-related projects for two years.
