ASTRA (Central and Eastern European Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) is a regional informal network created in 1999 by women’s rights organizations and activists from Central and Eastern Europe. STRA advocates for the full implementation of SRHR of women in the region. ASTRA is based in Poland.
Launched in 2004 as the youth wing of the ASTRA Network, ASTRA Youth consists of young activists advocating for young people’s SRHR in Central and Eastern Europe and Balkan countries, including comprehensive sexuality education, HIV/AIDS prevention, and participation of young people in decision making processes for SRHR. ASTRA Youth is based in Poland.
