ARROW is seeking a consultant who will develop a manual aimed at the media on gender equality, with a focus on the thematic issues of women, girls and LGBTIQ+ persons, as well as the inclusion of CEDAW and the UPR. The training manual will be used in Malaysia and will be developed as part of the Gender Equality Initiative project ARROW is carrying out together with our project partners, the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations, Malaysia (FRHAM) and Justice for Sisters (JfS).
The main objective of the media manual will be to garner public support on the thematic issues of women, girls and LGBTIQ+ persons, and work constructively through the media to change the context or environment in which the problem occurs and promote a facilitating environment for grounding human rights in Malaysia.
